Q. How many lessons will I need before taking my driving test
A. Without seeing someone's driving it is impossible to say for sure, also your progress may vary from lesson to lesson. Obviously if you have some driving experience you will need less time than if you were starting from scratch. Rest assured that your progress will be monitored and you will not have more lessons than necessary.
Q. Which car will I use for my driving test ?
A. You will use the same car that you have used for your lessons. A different car is not provided for the test.
Q. Which of the two tests do I take first.
A. You must take and pass the theory test before you can apply for a practical test. However it is O.K. to start having lessons before you take the theory test.
Q. What is the cost of the theory and practical tests ?
A. The theory test is £28.50 and the practical test is £48.50.(correct at 01-09-2007)
Q. Where do I get the forms to apply for my provisional licence, the theory test and my practical test ?
A. All the necessary forms are available from me. You can also obtain a form for your provisional licence from a post office.
